I was suprised Knight's Orb Weaver Farm didn't get a shoutout- though it is unclear if they're still operating. http://spiderwebfarm.com/spiderweb.htm either way adorable website.

I love your illustrations and spider facts! We live out in the country and have lots of spiders and webs around the house. We have a few orb weavers, but mostly we see crab spiders which are big, dangerous-looking, change colors to camouflage themselves to match their surroundings, and not harmful to humans or pets.

Thank you, Jason! Crab spiders are big and crazy, so cool, and I'm sure they're good neighbors.

Love this - and I too have both walked int the webs and learned to look carefully for them, especially this time of year. Orb weavers are just the best!
