Amy, your careful and loving look at pigeons will help me be a little more compassionate to the multitude of pigeons that live in New York City. Thanks. Carolyn
I live two blocks from a park made of cliffs overlooking the Pacific. I, too, had rarely seen pigeons outside cities but here they waddle, roost , peck, court abd breed. It's always strange when I go on about them to friends who visit. Pigeons just don't elicit much interest from most folks but I love watching them.
Thank you for the beautiful pigeon image. Magical!
Thank you so much!

Thanks, Carolyn! I think they are funny little city dwellers in fine suits -- at least this can make you laugh a bit when you see them next.

I realize most pigeons are feral and no wonder they love us so. At least there are some of us watching, keeping tabs.
Nice story. I like how pigeons alert me about the whereabouts of Cooper's hawks and peregrine falcons in the neighborhood.
Ooh, interesting -- because they hide/flap away?
A bit of everything. Along the lines of https://youtu.be/iSzpuYpiXQ4
Ah amazing! I wish I could whistle by flapping my arms. It feels very useful.
